Ana Popovic to open 7th Mikser Festival

BELGRADE - The 7th Mikser Festival, which is to be held on June 3-7 under the slogan "Neizdrz" (restlessness), will be opened by a famous blues musician Ana Popovic.

Ana Popovic is one of the world's most renowned blues musicians. Her rich career has led her all the way to Memphis, the blues capital of the world.

She is the only continental European artist ever nominated for Best New Artist at the prestigious WC Handy Awards, the blues version of Oscar. She received numerous nominations and awards in Europe and America, and performed with a number of music legends, such as Solomon Burke and B.B. King.

The tickets for the opening are available at Gigs Tix shops at a special discount price of RSD 800 for the first 500 tickets.

The 7th Mikser Festival, the largest regional event of creativity and innovation, will be held for the fourth time in Savamala, an urban neighborhood of Belgrade.
