Vucic speaks with Scholz by phone

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic spoke by phone with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz on Monday about the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and Serbia's role and place in preserving peace and stability in the region, as well as its European path and very successful economic cooperation with Germany.

"I informed Chancellor Scholz in detail of the almost intolerable situation for the Serb community in Kosovo-Metohija as well as of Pristina's dogged avoidance of meeting its accepted and signed commitments, especially with regards to the establishment of a Community of Serb Municipalities," Vucic wrote in a post on his buducnostsrbijeav Instagram account.

Vucic added that he had also exchanged views with Scholz on "all delicate issues in the context of the current global developments, especially Serbia's place and role in preserving peace and stability in the region...
