Gunmen storm Kenya university compound

Gunmen barged at a Garissa University College in Kenya, near the border with Somalia, and attacked people at the university compounds. Two people manning the university gate have been killed and four injured according to figures so far, however the extent of the damage is still uncleara.

The militants responsible for the attack could be Somali al-Shabab militants that have targeted Kenya over the past few years, however this has yet to be confirmed.

Reports of hostages taken have yet to be confirmed.

Witnesses state that attackers stormed into the university during morning prayers.

There is currently shooting still going on.
