Grigor Dimitrov Returns to the Court this Week as No. 28 in the World

Grigor Dimitrov returns to play this week after missing a month and a half because of a shoulder injury. The Bulgarian tennis player will participate in the first of the year and the most prestigious Masters series tournament in Indian Wells.

This will be his first appearance after the Australian Open, where he dropped in the eighth finals after losing to the American Frances Tiafoe. Dimitrov played seven games in 2019, with five victories and two defeats. His other loss was Kai Nishikori in the quarterfinals in Brisbane.

Dimitrov will learn who would be his first rival in Indian Wells on Wednesday, and his participation will begin by the end of the week.

The Bulgarian tennis player will enter the tournament as No. 28 in the world. He has advanced with one position in today's update of the ATP rankings. His asset is 1305 points.
