An agreement on tourism

The growth of tourism in Athens implies an increase of nuisances in the city and a further burden on its infrastructure. Any adjustment of visitor fees should be done through consensus, in consultation with the tourism industry and the municipal authority. 

Their cooperation, after all, is required in the entire breadth of tourist activity, which is now intertwined with the life of the city. No one stands to gain if the issue turns into a point of contention.
