Teen suffers broken jaw after attack in school

A 12-year-old student suffered a double fracture in his jaw after being punched by a 14-year-old at a high school in Thesprotia, northern Greece, on Wednesday.

The attack happened in the presence of students and teachers of the school in Filiata. The 12-year-old had to be hospitalised in Ioannina and is expected to undergo surgery.

The student's parents filed a complaint with the local police which is conducting the preliminary investigation.
