Social media campaign stirring Prespes deal opposition at Greek schools

An anonymous social media drive mobilizing middle and high school students to oppose Greece's name deal with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is expected to culminate with protest rallies and school gatherings on Thursday.

Students at a few dozen high schools have already held sit-ins and marches.

Ferry services disrupted due to strong winds

Several ferry services were disrupted on Thursday due to gale-force winds up to 10 on the Beaufort scale blowing in the Aegean Sea, the Shipping Ministry said.

All planned services from Rafina port to the Cyclades have been suspended, while the "Adamandios Korais" ferry scheduled to sail to the western Cyclades will remain docked.

MPs in Parliament will Continue with State Budget Debates for 2019

After closing the doors at 22.00 last night, today MPs in Parliament will continue  with state budget debates for the next year.

It contains the main financial parameters for 2019, as well as the money for the different ministries.

Wages in the budget sector will increase by 10%, while those of teachers will increase by 20% on average.

The Kosovo prime minister wrote the article published in the US daily, where he presented a series of accusations against Serbia, and claimed that the Serbian president, with Russia's support, was offering Kosovo independence in exchange for a part of Kosovo's territory.
