The low temperature warning applies to the regions of Kyustendil, Sofia-city, Sofia, Vidin, Vratsa, Montana, Pleven, Lovech, Gabrovo, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Targovishte, Shumen, Silistra, Smolyan, reports Focus News Agency. 

All National Roads Passable in Winter Conditions

All national roads are passable in winter conditions, cleared by nearly 800 machines last night and in the morning, the Road Infrastructure Agency said.

Due to snow cleaning, truck traffic, over 12 tonnes, is provisionally restricted on the I-1 Botevgrad-Vratsa road and II-17 Hemus-Botevgrad in the Vratsa region, as well as I-5 Ruse-Byala.

Kosovo-Serbia Standoff Will Likely Ease, Experts Say

As a crisis over Kosovo's import tax hikes continues in Serb-majority northern Kosovo, a former Serbian Minister for Kosovo, Goran Bogdanovic, says that he expects a "status quo" to settle in before the import taxes on Serbian products are scrapped.

"I believe that this decision [to raise taxes on Serbian imports] will be revoked very soon," Boganovic told BIRN.

Gov't convening in solemn meeting in Alba Iulia

Prime Minister Viorica Dancila and the members of her cabinet will be convening today in a solemn meeting to celebrate the National Day of Romania in the centennial year of the Greater Union of December 1, 1918, in Alba Iulia on Thursday.

The meeting will take place from 10:30hrs, EET, at the Alba Carolina Fortress, the Union Hall, according to the PM's schedule.
