Dendias: Turkey used migrants for political purposes

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on Friday said Turkey had used migrants' desperation for political purposes, while calling for a continuation of NATO's migrant mission in the Aegean.
"Turkey was obviously exposed to international public opinion," Dendias told state broadcaster ERT over the recent migrant standoff along the Evros border.

Magnitude 4.7 earthquake strikes eastern Turkey

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 struck eastern Turkey on April 3.

The quake occurred in Van province at 8.44 a.m. local time (0544GMT), according to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).

There were no immediate reports of casualties.

Athens Medical Group offers clinic to ESY amid pandemic

Athens Medical Group has made one of its five hospitals available to Greece's National Health System (ESY) as the country fights to stem the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

The offer has been formally accepted by the government.
