Search efforts for the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 have been shifted from the previous area where the plane was believed to have gone down.
The new search area is approximately 1,680 km west of Australia's coast city Perth, which is 1,100 km north-east of the previous zone in the southern Indian Ocean where operations were conducted, the BBC revealed.

Satellite Finds 122 Objects Potentially from Missing Malaysian Plane
A total of 122 objects that might have been part of disappeared Malaysian plane were spotted by a satellite.
Malaysia's Transport Minister said that pieces up to 23m in length appeared bright and were possibly made of "solid material," the BBC has reported.
Malaysia Airliner Search Resumes
The search for the Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 in the southern Indian Ocean has resumed, after weather conditions improved.
On Monday, Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak revealed that based on the latest data, it can be concluded the plane went down in the Indian Ocean, some 2,500 km off the Australian coast of Perth.
