Turkish Airlines increased its net profits by 66 percent in the second quarter of the year from the same period of 2014, to 662 million Turkish Liras.
The company's net profits thus increased to 1.04 billion liras in the first half of the year.

Turkish Airlines plane searched after bomb hoax
A Turkish Airlines plane was searched in Istanbul's Atatürk Airport late Aug. 4 after a false bomb threat ahead of its flight to the southeastern province of Gaziantep.
The cabin crew found a note under a seat which said "there is a bomb on the plane" while cleaning the plane before the arrival of the passengers for the flight.

Ukraine to establish Muslim troops: Crimean leader
Ukraine has stepped up to establish a troop of Muslims, leader of Crimean Tatars, Mustafa Abdülcemil K?r?mo?lu, said on Aug. 3.
The troops will be deployed in the Kherson region on the Crimean border and would monitor transportation of goods and people between Ukraine and the peninsula, he said speaking at a congress.
