Remains of 18 war victims exhumed at Slunj
BELGRADE - The remains of 18 persons, including two women, were exhumed from a mass grave at the location "Groblje" in Slunj between 16 and 18 of June this year.
The victims are Serbs from Kordun, killed in the aggression of Croatian armed forces in August 1995 (Operation Storm) on a UN protected area known as Sector North.

Vrdoljak told an energy conference in Zagreb on Tuesday that Croatia was preparing an international tender for onshore gas and oil exploration in addition to its current open tender for offshore exploration in the Adriatic Sea.

Croatia Ex-PM Sanader’s Graft Sentence Upheld
The court in Zagreb on Friday confirmed that Sanader would go to jail but reduced the sentence from ten years to eight and a half.
Sanader, who was the country's premier from 2003 to 2009, was convicted of taking bribes from Hungarian oil group MOL in exchange for allowing it to take a dominant position in Croatian oil firm INA.
