High class prostitution ring busted! Well known manager involved
Greek police have smashed a high class prostitution ring operating in Greece and abroad after an ongoing investigation. Authorities arrested 17 members of the network on April 23, six of whom were Greek nationals and the other 11 foreigners. One of the 17 arrested was a 50-year old Greek who is reportedly the illicit organisation.
Bulgaria Granted Protection to 5 320 Syrians in 2015
The vast share of asylum seekers granted protection last year in Bulgaria were Syrians, a Eurostat report shows.
In 2015, Bulgaria granted status to 5 320 people from Syria, who make up 95% of all affirmative status decisions in the country.
Nationals of Iraq come second (160 decisions) and stateless people (95).

Bulgaria to Send Aid to Migrants at Macedonia's Tabanovce
Bulgaria will deliver humanitarian assistance to refugees and migrants at Tabanovce transit center near Kumanovo in neighbouring Macedonia on Thursday, the government in Sofia has said.
The aid consisting of mineral water and food supplies has been provided by the Bulgarian Red Cross and Bulgarian companies, the government press office said in a statement.
Bulgaria, Macedonia to Hold Joint Border Policing Operations amid Migration Crisis
Balkan neighbours Bulgaria and Macedonia have agreed to conduct joint air and land operations for border control and protection in the context of the migration crisis in the coming days, the government in Sofia announced on Thursday.
The agreement was reached in a telephone conversation between Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov.
