Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts

Turkey has inaugurated its debut exhibition, “Places of Memory,” at its long-term pavilion at the Arsenale, one of the two main venues of the 14th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice Biennial.

The 42nd Istanbul Music Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), opened June 1 with a ceremony at the Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibition Hall. For the opening, the Borusan Children’s Choir, under the baton of Gürsen Yavuzkal, performed a short concert. İKSV President Bülent Eczacıbaşı presented the contributors to the festival with plaques.

The 42nd Istanbul Music Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) under the sponsorship of Borusan Holding, will meet music lovers between May 31 and June 27. This year’s festival will be held with the theme “The Song of Nature.”
