Vucic: Hydropower plants matter to Serbia

BELGRADE - Serbia has offered Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) a solution to the two countries' border issue in the form of a non-paper that would see the Zvornik and Bajina Basta hydropower plants situated in Serbian territory in their entirety, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic told a press conference after meeting with the BiH Presidency on Wednesday.

Vucic welcomes BiH Presidency members

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Wednesday hosted a ceremonial welcome for the members of the Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Presidency outside the Palace of Serbia.

A meeting of Vucic and the tripartite Presidency - Chairman Dragan Covic, Mladen Ivanic and Bakir Izetbegovic - will be followed by a plenary meeting of the delegations of Serbia and BiH.

Press conference friction: Bakir "clarifies," Vucic "adds"

According to Vucic, who spoke during a joint news conference in Belgrade on Wednesday, the first topic of discussion was the construction of the Sarajevo-Belgrade highway, and there Serbia presented "a fair stance."

"We showed what we've done on Corridor 11 so far, and how and what we are doing to bring Belgrade closer to Sarajevo," Vucic said.

"Bosnia could collapse"

Serb-Croat relations in Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH) are "idyllic" at this moment, journalist Tvrtko Milovic has told Sputnik.

According to him, these relations also depend heavily on the personal connection between the two people's political leaders, Dragan Covic and Milorad Dodik.
