37 of ‘Diyarbakır mothers’ reunited with children: Altun
Some 37 of the "Diyarbakır mothers," a group of mothers carrying out sit-in protests claiming that their children were abducted by the PKK, have been reunited with their children so far, Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun has said.

This was stated on Friday by the Director of Communications of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Fahrettin Altun, ahead of the meeting between Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi.
İsmailağa jamia leader Ustaosmanoğlu dead at 93
Mahmut Ustaosmanoğlu, a Turkish Sufi sheikh and the leader of the influential İsmailağa Jamia of the Naqshbandi-Khalidiyya Tariqah, died on June 23 at the age of 93.
According to a statement by the tariqah, his funeral service will be held on June 24, in Istanbul's Fatih district where the movement is centered.

A Turkish TV journalist was arrested late on Jan. 22 for comments she made on air about President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Within the scope of the investigation started by the Istanbul Prosecutor's Office, police detained Sedef Kabaş at 2 a.m. on Jan. 22.
Appearing in court, Kabaş said she had no intention to "insult the president."

Erdoğan, Biden to meet today in Rome
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his U.S. counterpart will meet on Oct. 31 on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Rome, a senior U.S. official said.
The NATO allies had been expected to hold a bilateral at the U.N. summit climate in Glasgow next week, but a senior U.S. administration official briefed reporters on Oct. 30 that it would take place Sunday morning.
