BELGRADE, Oct 23 (Tanjug) - An informal meeting of foreign and finance ministers of Western Balkan countries on economic management and ties started in Belgrade on Thursday.

BELGRADE - Hellenic Parlaiment Speaker Vangelis Meimarakis will visit Belgrade on Thursday to attend a ceremony marking the completion of an EU Twinning project between the Serbian and the Greek parliaments, dubbed ‘Strengthening the capacity of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in the process of European integration'.

Belgrade hosts informal regional conference

PRISTINA - Kosovo Minister of Foreign Affairs Enver Hodzaj and Minister of Economic Development Fadilj Ismailji will take part in the ministerial meeting of regional countries in Belgrade on Thursday, Prime Minister Hasim Taci in the outgoing Pristina government announced.

BELGRADE - Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic met on Wefnesday with Director of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Michael Georg Link.

The meeting was part of Serbia's preparations to take over the chairmanship of the OSCE next year, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated.

Thaci's ministers to take part in Belgrade conference

BELGRADE -- Kosovo's foreign and economic development minister Enver Hoxhaj and Fadil Ismaili will participate a regional ministerial meeting in Belgrade, Beta reported.

The agency said this was announced on Tuesday by Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci.

BRUSSELS - High EU Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton was the only objective mediator in the crises in the Western Balkans, Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic stated on Tuesday after the farewell meeting with Ashton.

BELGRADE - Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic has hosted a reception for the participants of a regional conference on involvement of Western Balkan states in United Nations peacekeeping missions.

Serbia will make a full contribution to the role of the United Nations in preserving peace in the world, Dacic said late Monday.
