The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced a reward for those of his compatriots who are fully vaccinated against covid, AFP reported.

The agency notes that the measure was taken to encourage Ukrainians to be vaccinated. Only less than a third of the country's population is fully vaccinated against covid.

The meeting is taking place two days later than originally scheduled, as Biden oversees the response to Hurricane Ida and the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan, Reuters reported.

Today, August 23, Foreign Minister Svetlan Stoev starts a three-day visit to Ukraine. On the first day of his visit, Minister Stoev represents Bulgaria at the Crimean Platform, which will be attended by over 40 foreign delegations.
