Greek carrier Aegean has recently announced the launch of a new revolutionary corporate loyalty program, which rewards companies that prefer Aegean and Olympic Air for their business travel needs and also offers unique benefits and services to the employees traveling through their personal loyalty membership card.

An aviation notice issued by Turkey for a 10-month military drill in the Aegean Sea has sparked reaction from the Greek government, which reportedly complained about the move to international organizations over a "violation of Greek integrity and flight safety."

Six Turkish air force fighter planes violated Greek air space in the eastern Aegean on Thursday, with the general staff in Athens reporting at least three flyovers of isles in the Fourni chain.

Romanian low-cost airline Blue Air has announced that it will launch an Athens-Larnaca route on January 19. The airline will operate the new service seven times per week, with the intention of expanding the schedule to ten flights for the summer season.

Turkey on Monday backpedaled on plans to reserve a big chunk of air space over the Aegean Sea for military maneuvers until the end of the year, Greek officials said, following what appeared to be a reaction from the NATO alliance.
