BELGRADE - UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond voiced strong support for Serbia's internal reforms and EU integration in Belgrade on Thursday, noting that the most important thing for opening the first chapters in the negotiations is an implementation of the Brussels agreement on the normalization of relations with Pristina.
President, British minister "discuss OSCE and EU"
BELGRADE -- President Tomislav Nikolic met Thursday with British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond and said that Serbia is "committed to the European integration process."
The country is "ready to contribute to the easing of tensions between the EU and Russia during its OSCE chairmanship," he added.
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic received on Thursday U.S. Ambassador Michael Kirby, who presented him with a personal New Year and Christmas card from President of the U.S. Barack Obama.
As the Serbian government's press office has stated in a release, Vucic and Kirby discussed several topics relating to Serbia's future, in economic terms in particular.
