ADMIE to concede stake in Ariadne

State grid operator ADMIE intends to concede up to 39 percent of its special purpose vehicle Ariadne, created to undertake the power interconnection between Crete and Attica. A Greek-Indian consortium has been awarded the contract to build a new airport on the island of Crete, a consortium official said on Friday.

Ariadne Airport Group, a joint venture between India's GMR Airports and Greek contractor GEK Terna, was the preferred bidder for the 850 million euro project and will begin construction at the start of next year.
