India-Pakistan border in Kashmir laced with blood

The Line of Control (LoC) dividing the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir into India and Pakistan symbolizes decades of painful history. Now it is once again turning into a battleground between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.

The large population living on both sides of the divide continue living on the edge amid one of the heaviest military presences in the world.

A Strong Earthquake Shook Pakistan: Casualties and many Injured

A 5.8 magnitude earthquake shook northern Pakistan. 25 people were killed and more than 400 were injured, BTA reported.

Footage broadcast by Pakistani media showed collapsed buildings and major cracks along roads in the city of Mirpur, located in Pakistan's Azad Kashmir, near the border with India.

The Meaning Of A War

India and Pakistan are currently in turmoil. Apart from the gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC), the two neighbouring countries are issuing statements and counter-statements on various issues, including Kulbhushan Yadav and Kashmir. Warmongers in these two countries are looking for an opportunity to trigger war.

Five killed in gunfight between India police, rebels in Kashmir

Rebels attacked a police squad in the Indian portion of Kashmir, triggering a gunbattle that left three civilians, one officer and an assailant dead, police said on May 7.

The unit came under fire Saturday night as it reached a road accident site on a key highway connecting Kashmir Valley with the rest of India, said senior police officer S.P. Pani.
