18% has Increased the Passenger Flow Through the Bulgarian Airports for 2017
2017 was good for Bulgarian aviation, with a significant increase of the passengers transported by about 18 per cent. A total of 11,500 thousand passengers were transported by regular and charter flights to and from Bulgaria during the past year.

Bomb threat that caused Polish plane to divert was hoax, airline says
A bomb threat that turned out to be a hoax forced a passenger plane en route from Warsaw to Egypt to make an emergency landing in Bulgaria on Nov. 19, the operator of the aircraft said.
The Airbus A320 landed just before dawn in the Black Sea city of Burgas, where authorities said all 161 passengers and crew were evacuated safely.

Polish airline Small Planet has sent out another plane to transport passengers of its aircraft which made an emergency landing in Bulgaria's Burgas over a bomb threat on Thursday morning, Sofia-based Focus news agency reported.
It was not immediately clear when the second plane will arrive, according to a spokesperson of Burgas Airport, Focus said.
Bulgarian Airline BH Air to Run Sofia-Kolkata Flights
Bulgaria's government has tasked Bulgarian airline BH Air with conducting Sofia- Kolkata -Sofia flights.
The flight is envisaged in an existing agreement between the Bulgarian and Indian governments, according to the press office of the government.
The airline won the right to offer this service after wining a tender.

Bulgarian airline BH Air could launch direct flights to the United States next spring – 16 years after national carrier Balkan Airlines made its last flight to New York.
BH Air could launch direct flights from Sofia to New York and Chicago with bookings to be launched this autumn, 24 Chasa daily has reported.
