15,298 people vaccinated against COVID-19 in past 24hrs
As many as 15,298 doses of the Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines have been administered in the last 24 hours, of which 11,402 represent the first dose and 3,896 the second dose, according to a briefing sent on Friday by Romania's National COVID-19 Vaccination Coordination Committee (CNCAV).

Slovenia is now on England’s green travel list
London – Late on Wednesday, the British government updated its entry requirements and placed several countries, including Slovenia, on the green list. As of Sunday morning, travellers from Slovenia will only need a negative Covid test to enter England, regardless of the person’s vaccination status, foreign news agencies report.

Slovenia to donate 150,000 doses of AstraZeneca to Cape Verde

Number of daily cases jump to nearly 25,000, highest since early May
The number of new COVID-19 cases in Turkey jumped to nearly 25,000, government data showed, the highest level in almost three months, as the health minister urged Turkish nationals to get vaccinated against the virus.
The number of new cases hit 24,832 on Aug. 3, up from 22,898 the day before, according to the Health Ministry's figures.
