President, prime minister, parties condemn Moscow terror attack

President Katerina Sakellaropoulou has condemned the deadly terrorist attack that took place in the Russian capital on Friday that killed at least 143 people.

"I express my horror and unequivocal condemnation of the deadly terrorist attack on civilians in Moscow," she said, in a statement.

Foreign Ministry expresses condolences over school shooting in Serbia

The Greek Foreign Ministry has expressed condolences to the relatives of the victims of Wednesday's school shooting in the Serbian capital of Belgrade, in which nine people were killed. 

The ministry wrote on Twitter that they were "utterly devastated by the news of the shooting attack."

University of Crete professor found dead in his office

The University of Crete has announced the passing of Professor Thanasis Feidas, who was found dead in his office on Tuesday evening. 

The 65-year-old had been working in the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics since 1991. 

Colleagues discovered his body after his partner expressed concern about his whereabouts. 

AHI releases statement on Tempe train crash

Vucic signs book of condolences at Syrian embassy

BELGRADE- Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic signed a book of condolences at the Syrian embassy in Belgrade on Monday in the wake of a devastating earthquake in Syria.

"The Republic of Serbia and its citizens share the pain of the citizens of Syria who have lost their loved ones in this enormous tragedy, in the hope that survivors will find the strength for a new beginning."
