INSCOP: Half of Romanians, interested in ongoing electioneering

As many as 52.8 per cent of Romanians say they are interested and very interested in the ongoing electioneering for this November's presidential election, with 70 per cent of them already knowing whom they will vote for, according to findings of a recent Inscop Reserach poll conducted October 2-8, 2014 and released on Monday.

Bulgaria Pledges to Boost Defence Spending

Bulgaria will increase defence spending in line with decisions of the recent NATO summit in Wales to address global challenges, President Rosen Plevneliev said on Friday.

"The crisis in Ukraine returned us to harsh reality," Plevneliev said at a defence industry forum in Sofia attended by senior NATO officials and representatives of Bulgarian military plants and research institutes.
