Barbaros, a graduate of Istanbul University State Conservatory Opera Department, has hosted a few international artists so far.

Historic address by the British Queen: Show the power of our national spirit
The British queen asked the citizens of that country to show the strength of previous generations of Britons.
In an extremely rare televised address to the nation last night, the queen called on UK citizens to recall the collective spirit that previous generations had during the difficult situation the country found itself in during World War II, Reuters reported.

But he resigned from the ruling party in 2019, citing "deep differences" with it over the state of democracy, rule of law and foreign policy.
"Our democracy is weak, our society cannot breathe. Our economy, education and health systems are alarming," Babacan said on Wednesday in Ankara at the official launch of the DEVA party.

Turkish skier's heroics save life in Slovenia
A Turkish alpine skier saved the life of a 12-year-old boy in Slovenia's Krvavec Ski Resort.
In a statement, the Turkish Ski Federation said that Sıla Kara, 19, saved the Slovenian boy during a warm-up.
The boy, who was alongside Kara on a chairlift, lost his balance. He managed to grab Kara's ski swaps in the last-ditch effort to prevent his fall.

Metal stars to start Istanbul New Year countdown
