Erdogan: C-400 Systems will be Fully Installed in Turkey in April 2020

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the Russian C-400 missile-system will be fully deployed in Turkey in April 2020, BTA reported.
        Russia has already begun supplying components of the C-400 in Turkey, despite tensions that the defense system bought with NATO's Ankara partners, particularly the United States, who warned the country that they would respond to sanctions.

Turkey issues Navtex for exercises off Kastellorizo on Sunday

Turkey has issued a navigational telex reserving a large area south of the island of Kastellorizo, within Greece's continental shelf, for military exercises on Sunday as Greeks go to general elections.

The Turkish Navtex has reserved an area stretching from the south of Kastellorizo westwards towards Rhodes for exercises that will use live ammunition.

Erdogan escalates tension as Tsipras warns of serious consequences

A war of words erupted on Tuesday between Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Ergodan over hydrocarbon rights in the Eastern Mediterranean and the southeastern Aegean, with the former warning Ankara of serious consequences if it continues to violate international law. 

Ekrem Imamoglu Won the Istanbul Mayor's Election

Ekrem Imamoglu had won the first mayoral vote in March by a slim margin of 13,000 votes over Erdogan's chosen candidate, Binali Yildirim, who contested the results and a new election was ordered. 
After being stripped of that victory over disputed claims of fraud, Imamoglu vowed a "battle for democracy" that turned him into a household name.

Speaking at the end of a Greece-Turkey meeting in March 2013, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan uttered the phrase "kazan-kazan" (Turkish for win-win), a term used to describe a situation in which each party benefits in some way. Erdogan was once again referring to the prospect of co-exploiting the hydrocarbon reserves in areas within Ankara's sphere of interest.
