Dacic receives Israeli ambassador

BELGRADE - Serbian First Deputy PM and FM Ivica Dacic received Israeli Ambassador to Belgrade Yahel Vilan on Tuesday.

During the meeting, great concern was voiced over the continued Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza, the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement.

Serbia, North Macedonia sign memorandum to build Nis-Skopje HSR line

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesic and his North Macedonian counterpart Blagoje Bocvarski signed on Friday in Belgrade a memorandum on the construction of a high-speed rail line between Nis and Skopje, for which the two countries will jointly request EU funds.

Begovic: Serbia to develop bioeconomy by building BIO4 campus

BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Jelena Begovic said on Tuesday the construction of a BIO4 campus, slated to begin at the end of December, would be very important for development of science and the bioeconomy in Serbia, and added that the Torlak Institute for Virology, Vaccines and Sera would be a part of the campus.

Vucic: New Brussels meeting rejected by other side

BELGRADE - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Sunday evening a new round of the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue had been planned for November 6 or 7 but that the "other side" had not accepted that.

"That is what was agreed," Vucic said in an interview to Tanjug, adding that he believed the "other side" had not accepted that.
