Jazz Festival | Athens | June 4-10
This year's Technopolis Jazz Festival at the City of Athens's cultural complex in the downtown Gazi district features 21 bands, including acts from around Greece, as well as Belgium, the UK, Portugal, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden and Norway, among others. Doors open daily at 5 p.m. and close at midnight, and admission is free of charge.

Science Festival | Athens | April 24-29
More than 90 interactive events, 32 workshops for children and 22 for adults, 45 lectures and five competitions make up this year's annual Athens Science Festival at the municipal Technopolis venue. Experts from scientific institutions around the world and educators will be at the event answering questions regarding the working of CERN, life on other planets and the world's digital future.

Classical Italian | Athens | April 18
As part of its Musical Journeys series, the Athens Municipal Orchestra teams up with cellist Marina Kolovou for a concert dedicated to great Italian classical composers including Rossini, Puccini and Verdi, among others. Christmas Factory | Athens | To January 7
The Christmas Factory returns to Technopolis for the holiday season, with fun activities, food, games, carousel rides, an ice-skating rink and the new Magic School. The Christmas Factory will open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily till Sunday, January 7. Admission costs 5.50 euros per person, but there are discounts for larger groups.
