Turkey looks forward to Erdoğan-Biden meeting with 'positive agenda'
Ankara is approaching an upcoming meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his U.S. counterpart, Joe Biden, with a positive agenda, and Turkey is receiving similar signals from Washington, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on June 9.
Ukraine wants to double trade volume with Turkey:
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on April 16 that Turkey and Ukraine have a trade turnover of $ 5.5 billion and "we want to double it."
Ukraine has "a good relations with Turkey today," Zelensky said in an exclusive interview with French daily newspaper Le Figaro when asked about his recent visit to Turkey and meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Ukrainians urged to vacation in Turkey after Russia’s travel ban
Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has urged his fellow citizens to vacation in Turkey in support of Ankara after Russia suspended flights to Turkey.
Speaking after the National Defense and Security Council meeting on April 15, Zelenskiy assessed his trip to Turkey, which took place on April 10, where he met with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Turkey wants Russian-Ukrainian issues settled via talks
Turkey's presidential spokesman on April 11 reiterated his country's call for a de-escalation of tension between Russia and Ukraine.
"Turkey defends Ukraine's territorial integrity and the rights of Crimean Tatars and supports the settlement of the problems between Russia and Ukraine through negotiations," Ibrahim Kalın said on Twitter.
Turkish, Egyptian foreign ministers speak by phone
The foreign ministers of Turkey and Egypt spoke by phone on April 10, the Turkish foreign ministry said, their first direct contact since a push by Ankara to improve strained ties between the regional powerhouses.
The two ministers exchanged good wishes over the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, which starts next week, the ministry added, but gave no further details.

Turkey opens consulate in Uzbekistan’s Samarkand
Turkey on March 7 opened a consulate general in the historical Samarkand city of Uzbekistan.
Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu inaugurated the Turkish Consulate General in Samarkand.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Çavuşoğlu said the consulate will be the new symbol of permanent fraternity with Turkey's fatherland Uzbekistan.

Ankara ready to help carry Turkmen gas to Europe via Turkey: Turkish FM
Ankara is ready to contribute to carrying Turkmenistan's gas via Turkey to Europe, Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on Feb. 23.
"We are ready to do our part for the arrival of Turkmen gas in Turkey and through Turkey to reach Europe," Çavuşoğlu said at a joint press conference with his Turkmen counterpart, Rasit Meredov.

Talks between Turkey and Greece, which resumed Monday after five years of hiatus, were held in a very positive atmosphere, according to the Turkish foreign minister on Jan. 27.
