Energotehnika Juzna Backa to dewater "Tamnava"
BELGRADE - The Novi Sad-based Energotehnika Juzna Backa and Romanian SC NESS Proiect Europa SRL are tasked with draining water and sludge from the open-pit coal mine “Tamnava-West Field", based on the tender invited by public company Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) and Kolubara Mining Basin.

Mihajlovic: 40 percent of flood-ravaged roads repaired
BACKO GRADISTE - Around 40 percent of the roads destroyed in the May floods have been repaired so far, Serbian Minister of Transport Zorana Mihajlovic said on Sunday, announcing that all of the country's damaged roads and railway infrastructure will be repaired by October 1.

Serbia invites Chinese Sinomah to build industrial zone

Simonovic:Most difficult situation on Belgrade-Bar rail line
BELGRADE - Serbian Railways CEO Dragoljub Simonovic has voiced expectation on Monday that rail traffic in Serbia will get back to normal very soon, expect on a stretch of the Belgrade Bar rail line.
Simonovic explained that flash floods dislocated a 1.5 km stretch of tracks by as many as five meters, while a mudslide blocked access to the railway near the village of Gradac.
