Several hundred Serbs took to the streets of the Kosovo town of Mitrovica to support politician Oliver Ivanovic, who was jailed for ordering the murder of ethnic Albanians in April 1999.

Two men wounded in Kosovska Mitrovica shooting
A young Serb man was seriously wounded in late Sunday's shooting in Kosovska Mitrovica, Tanjug has been told at the local hospital.
Another person, a 21-year old man sustained minor injuries, the agency said.

Ivanovic found guilty, sentenced to nine years in prison
Oliver Ivanovic, a Serb politician from northern Kosovo, has been found guilty on charges of war crimes and sentenced to nine years in prison.
The international court chamber of the Basic Court on Kosovska Mitrovica was presided by Judge Roxana Comsa from Romania.

Montenegro 'Intends to Join KFOR'
Montenegro is waiting for NATO approval to contribute troops to KFOR forces in Kosovo, after it "expressed [the] intention" to join, BIRN has learned.
Several sources from Montenegro's defence and foreign affairs ministries have confirmed the government submitted a request to NATO to send soldiers to Kosovo before Podgorica received its invitation to join the alliance last week.

One person wounded in Kosovska Mitrovica explosion
A Kosovo Albanian was wounded and eight cars were damaged in an explosion that took place in north Kosovska Mitrovica on Sunday.
After the incident that happened around 13:00 CET, Zeljko Bojic, Kosovo police regional chief of operating, told Tanjug that the explosive device used is most probably a bomb, and that a Kosovo Albanian was injured on the occasion.
