Foreign Ministry Proposes Postal Voting for Bulgarian Abroad
The Foreign Ministry will move amendments to election legislation to introduce expatriate voting by postal mail in Bulgarian political elections, require advance registration of Bulgarians willing to vote abroad, and set up an overseas constituency election commission, Foreign Minister Svetlan Stoev told a briefing on Friday.

The turnout was 29.1% as of 5 pm This is shown by the data from the exit poll of Gallup International.
Official CEC data at 4 pm indicated that 27.2% of eligible voters went to the polls.

CEC Set Rules of Video Recording and Broadcasting in Election Day
The Central Election Commission has determined the conditions and rules for video recording and video broadcasting, taking into account the results of the voting in the polling stations.
It will take place after the end of the Election day - when the voting is declared over, during which the recording of voters' lists is not allowed.
Voting Machines Cannot be Manipulated: Central Election Commission in Bulgaria
All 421 voting machines have already been delivered abroad. The machines that will be used in Bulgaria will be delivered to the polling stations on Saturday, the Chairperson of the Central Election Commission Kamelia Neykova said for the Bulgarian National Television.
Allegations of voter suppression as referendum voting starts
Ljubljana – Proponents of the referendum on the waters act have sharply criticised the organisation of the voting, alleging voter suppression regarding information on how and where people can vote early and polling station staffing. “We are faced with inadmissible curtailing of voting rights,” Aljoša Petek of the Legal Information Centre said on Tuesday.
Early voting in waters referendum under way
Ljubljana – Slovenian voters who will be unable to go to the polls on Sunday, 11 July, to vote on the changes to the waters act can do so in early voting from Tuesday to Thursday between 7am and 7pm at over 92 polling stations around Slovenia.
A voter can cast their vote in early voting only at the local electoral commission which covers the area of their permanent residence.

Democratic Bulgaria Wants Independent Audit of Voting Machines
Democratic Bulgaria sent a letter to the management of the State Agency for Electronic Government (DAEU), urging guarantees that an independent inspection of the voting machines would take place on July 11th.
Political coalition emphasizes that it is therefore necessary to give access to experts appointed by the political parties to the source code of the software of the machines.
Machine Voting in Partial Local Elections Caused No Major Problems Says Member of CEC
Dimitar Dimitrov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission, said that there had been no reports of voting machines malfunctions. Voting has not been suspended or stopped due to voting machine malfunction, he said, commenting on media stories about glitches in machine voting caused by the hot weather.
