Iohannis: Romania treads path of change

Romania is already on the path of change, as its citizens are expected to make a choice this autumn, between a policy based on scandal and diversion and one based on seriousness, respect and tangible results, Klaus Iohannis, the presidential candidate of the Christian Liberal Alliance (ACL; of the National Liberal Party - PNL, and the Democratic Liberal Party - PDL) said in Pitesti on Saturday.

"We are moving straight ahead to the presidential elections. The citizens' support for us during this pre-campaign period entitles me to say we are on the right track. Romania trod the path of change. The question of these elections is: should we continue with a permanent scandal, arguing, diversions, while the Romanians find harder and harder to lead a decent life, or we want something else? A policy based on seriousness, respect and especially concrete results. That's what I propose to the Romanians," Iohannis said in his speech at the political school of the ACL women.
