Arrears to general consolidated budget down to RON 207.5 ml at end-October

Arrears (debts more than 90 days past due) to the general consolidated budget dropped to RON 207.5 million at the end of October from RON 250.6 million at the end of September, shows data released by the Ministry of Public Finance.

Payments between 90 and 120 days outstanding amounted to RON 65.3 million, those between 120 and 360 days outstanding amounted to RON 71.5 million and those more than 360 days past due totaled RON 70.6 million.

Payments more than 90 days past due to suppliers and creditors from commercial operations amounted to RON 201.4 million, loans not repaid on maturity stood at RON 2.6 million, overdue interest was RON 1.4 million lei and payroll arrears RON 1.1 million.

State budget arrears increased during the respective period from RON 42.5 million to RON 43.7 million, and arrears to local budgets declined from RON 208.2 million to RON 163.7 million, while arrears to the social security budget kept steady at RON 30,000. AGERPRES
