Gabriel Oprea: It is simple and commonsense logic, you don't remove government you are part of

National Union for Romania's Progress (UNPR) Chairman Gabriel Oprea in Constanta on Saturday mentioned that the political group he represents supports the current Government and keeps its word, as it has proved so far, as it is a party doing politics for the national interest.

Oprea didn't rule out the possibility of the Ponta Government being overthrown, as, in theory, anything is possible, underscoring that the UNPR doesn't remove a government it is part of.

"We support the Government. But, in theory, anything is possible [referring to the Government being overthrown], it has been proven. We, the UNPR, are keeping our word, same as we have done in all the governments. It is a simple and commonsense logic, you don't remove a government you are part of. And, secondly, we support all national projects of Romania's President. Now it is Mr Klaus Iohannis. We have proven, we are a party working for the national interest, we don't do politics on the Internet, on the spur of the moment, we do politics for national and strategic interests, since the UNPR regards itself as a national interest party. And I believe it has proven this thing," Deputy Prime Minister Gabriel Oprea told a press conference.

National Union for Romania's Progress Chairman Gabriel Oprea participated in Constanta on Saturday in the regional meeting of the UNPR organisations of region II South East.

The meeting focused on the analysis of the activity of each of the organisations making up the region. At the same time, they discussed about the parliamentary activity of the party and the UNPR projects for the period 2015-2016, one of them being the mobilisation for the party to reach one million members in 2016....
