Juncker: Still a ways to go on Greek matter

EC head Jean Claude Juncker stated that “we still have a long way to go on the Greek matter”, since “specifics on reforms have not yet been clarified completely”. Despite all that, Mr. Juncker stated that “we are moving in the right direction”.

 

 

The EC head clarified that “there will not be a default in Greece. Greece is, and will remain, a member of the Eurozone”. He stated, however, that “Greece will need to follow the Eurogroup agreements in exchange”.

 

He underlined that “Greece must implement viable fiscal and financial policies” while he stressed that if the government wants to implement its pre-election promises then it must ensure it has the proper financing.
