Unidentified child found during police raid on Larissa home

Police in Larissa, central Greece, are seeking the identity of a 6-year-old girl found during a raid on the home of two suspects, a man aged 42 and a woman, 41.

Officers were acting on a tipoff when raided the pair's home in the area of Tyrnavos and found the unidentified 6-year-old girl, who is currently in the care of Larissa General Hospital as investigators probe her identity and the circumstances under which she ended up with the couple.

A third suspect, aged 34, was arrested as he tried to flee the property before the police raid. Officers discovered that there were two arrest warrants outstanding against him for drug trafficking and running a criminal organization. The initial two suspects have also been charged for abetting a criminal as he was hiding on their property, and also face charged for drug-related offenses.
