Senate's Popescu-Tariceanu:Toader presents emergency ordinance on Justice laws, amnesty and pardoning left out

The President of the Senate, Calin Popescu-Tariceanu, declared on Thursday, after the meeting with the governing coalition, that Minister of Justice Tudorel Toader made a presentation of the emergency ordinance which will take on "a series" of recommendations from the Venice Commission concerning the Justice laws, specifying that this normative act will not contain provisions concerning amnesty and pardoning.

The leaders of the governing coalition, Liviu Dragnea and Calin Popescu-Tariceanu met on Thursday with Minister of Justice Tudorel Toader in order to discuss about the emergency ordinance text concerning the Justice laws. The meeting took place in the office of the Deputies' Chamber Speaker (Liviu Dragnea. ed.n.).
