Oscar Nominations Announcement

The 91st Oscar nominations are being announced this morning in a presentation by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, with Tracee Ellis Ross and Kumail Nanjiani revealing nominations in 24 categories for the year's best in movies, writes deadline.com

Nominees will be revealed beginning at 8:20 AM ET/5:20 AM PT with categories including Supporting Actor and Actress, Costume Design, Film Editing, Original Score, Animated Short Film, Live Action Short Film, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing.

After a short break, the rest of the noms will be read at 8:30 AM ET/5:30 AM PT. Categories will wrap with the marquee Best Picture race as well as Actor and Actress in a Leading Role, Animated Feature Film, Cinematography, Directing, Documentary Feature Documentary Short Subject, Foreign Language Film, Makeup and Hairstyling, Visual Effects, Adapted Screenplay, Original Screenplay, Original Song and Production Design.

The organization will host a live stream of the nominations on Oscars.com, Oscars.org and the Academy's Twitter, YouTube and Facebook pages. It will also be show on local stations as well as on Good Morning America; the Oscarcast is on GMA's ABC. It's also live on Deadline.com.

The (so far host-free) Oscars this year are Sunday, February 24 live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland.
