Tillerson gives NATO allies two months for defense spending plans

U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson urged NATO allies to increase defense spending to 2 percent of gross domestic product, and asked each country to have a plan in place to fulfill funding commitments by the May 25 NATO leaders summit.

The tamer was attacked by one lion at first, but then at least one more took part in the attack. A series of repeated attacks followed, while the audience was watching in horror before fleeing the circus.

The man was saved his assistants with serious injuries but his life is not in danger.

PKK weapons, ammunition seized in Turkey's Diyarbakır

A large number of weapons and rocket launcher ammunition has been found in a house that was allegedly used by outlawed Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) militants in Diyarbakır's Sur district, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

Security forces tightened their measures and precautions before President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visits Diyarbakır on April 1.

School janitor arrested for sexually abusing 50 girls in Turkey's southeast

A school janitor in the Derik district of the southeastern province of Mardin has been arrested over claims of sexually abusing 50 girls aged between eight and 12, Doğan News agency has reported.

The incident unfolded after one of the victims told her family that she was sexually abused by the janitor, 43, identified only by the initials M.Ş.Y., in her school.
