UK to require all arrivals quarantine as virus deaths rise
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Jan. 15 said that all arrivals to the U.K. will have to quarantine and show negative virus tests from next week as hospitalizations and deaths continued to soar but new cases fell.

Spain and Britain Agree to Keep Gibraltar Land Border Open after Brexit
Spain and Britain reached a preliminary agreement on Thursday to keep the Gibraltar land border open, just hours before Britain's full exit from the European Union.
As part of the agreement, Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory located on Spain's southern tip, will remain part of European Union agreements such as the Schengen Area, Spanish Foreign Minister Gonzalez Laya said.

The Turkish National Football Team's opponents in the European Qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup were revealed on Dec. 7.
Turkey will play against the Netherlands, Norway, Montenegro, Latvia and Gibraltar in the European Qualifiers Group G.
The draw was held in Zurich, Switzerland via videoconference amid the coronavirus pandemic.
