The Mexican government on Sunday again stressed its position that it will not pay for President Donald Trump's proposed border wall, CNN reported.

 Trump tweeted Sunday morning: "With Mexico being one of the highest crime Nations in the world, we must have THE WALL. Mexico will pay for it through reimbursement/other."

Right to avoid defamation secured with latest state of emergency decree: Justice Ministry

A revision into the Turkish Code of Criminal Procedure with the new state of emergency decree no. 693, issued on Aug. 25, will help the "right to avoid defamation" to be more strongly secured as it will no longer be possible to launch an investigation into every complaint or denunciation made, Justice Minister Abdulhamit Gül said on his Twitter account on Aug. 27.

India’s “guru of bling” jailed for 10 years on rape charges

An Indian judge on Monday handed a 10-year jail sentence to self-styled ‘godman’ Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, whose followers went on a deadly rampage after he was convicted of rape on Friday.

Prior to the verdict, tens of thousands of police had enforced a lockdown in large parts of the northern states of Haryana and Punjab where Singh, 50, has a mass following.

Government establishes criteria for flat-rate taxation

The Serbian government last week adopted amendments to the decree flat-rate taxation of taxpayers with income from independent activities.

The new amendments enable the issuance of tax decisions for activities from the so-called Fifth Group, which includes professional activities such as doctors, veterinarians, interpreters, engineers, the government announced.
