Turkey evacuates troops at historic tomb in Syria, one soldier killed
Turkey has evacuated its military personnel protecting the Tomb of Süleyman ?ah in northern Syria as well as the artifacts in the mausoleum by an operation jointly conducted by the intelligence organization and the Turkish army, few days after reports suggested that the tomb was besieged by the jihadists belonging to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
Peshmerga training included in US deal
As part of an agreement between Turkey and the U.S., some 20 Turkish soldiers will participate in the training program of Kurdish Peshmerga forces in northern Iraq as part of the struggle against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.

President Recep Tayyip ErdoÄan spoke at the Women and Justice Summit yesterday, hosted by the Women and Democracy Association (KADEM). He, purely coincidentally, said, âYou cannot bring women and men into equal positions; that is against nature [creation].â
The word he used is âfıtrat,â which translates into nature or creation.

Albanian Police Seize Drugs Bound for Italy
Police found the drugs stashed in a van parked on secluded beach. It is believed that speed boats were to be used to traffic the drugs to Italy.
Media reports said police have arrested one suspect and issued warrants for five others.
The drugs are believed to have originated in the notoriously lawless village of Lazarat, a no-go zone for police.
