Army band greets Mitsotakis with Guns 'n' Roses song

An Army band greeted Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visiting the Thessaloniki International Fair Saturday morning playing Guns 'n' Roses' "Paradise City."

Mitsotakis had mentioned the 1987 hit as one of his favorite songs in the runup to July's national election.

A Special Forces detachment scaled an obstacle for the PM's benefit.

At the end of last year, for the first time in the last years, the troops arrived in the Bulgarian Army were more than those wo left. However, the unskilled military personnel in the army remains about 20 per cent. This was said at a press conference in Yambol Deputy Chief of Defense Lieutenant General Dimitar Iliev.
 

Bulgarian Special Forces host В-9 Thracian Sword 2018 Exercise

On 22 October, the Bulgarian Ministry of Defence announced that the special forces of the nine member states participating in the Bucharest 9 Initiative (B9) started the multinational military drill "Thracian Sword - 2018" at the Novo Selo Training Area.
