Premier Citu pays visit to Ukraine, to attend Crimean International Platform's launch summit

Prime Minister Florin Citu is paying a visit to Ukraine, in Kvyv, on Monday to attend the summit for the launch of the Crimean International Platform, in which context he will also have a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart, Denys Shmyhal. The delegation also includes the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu.

Ankara ready to host Ukraine reform conference: FM Çavuşoğlu

Ankara is ready to host a future conference to show support for Ukraine's reform efforts, Turkey's foreign minister said on July 7.

Speaking at the Fourth Ukraine Reform Conference in Lithuania's capital Vilnius, Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu voiced Turkey's support and solidarity with Ukraine "on its path of reforms."

Moscow Claims Russian Jets and Ships Fired upon British Warship in Black Sea, UK Denies

More than 20 Russian aircraft and two coastguard ships have shadowed a British warship sailing near Crimea.

Moscow's defence ministry said that HMS Defender entered Russian territorial waters near Crimea while a patrol ship fired warning shots and a jet dropped bombs in its path.

Britain's Ministry of Defence (MoD) said no warning shots were fired.

Restrictive measures currently in place include imports of EU products originating in Crimea or Sevastopol, as well as infrastructure or financial investments and tourist services in Crimea or Sevastopol.

"No solution in Geneva"

Milan Krsti from the Faculty of Political Sciences made this statement, adding that one should not expect that in today's talks between the two leaders in Geneva, the burning issues in the relations between the two countries will be resolved.
