Consumer Confidence Slightly Up in Past 3 Months
A regular three-month survey by Bulgaria's National Statistical Institute (NSI) has found that consumer confidence in January 2018 was 1.1 percentage points higher than in October.
The rise was due entirely to increased confidence among the urban population, the NSI said on February 7.

Major growth in consumer confidence, but prospects remain gloomy
Consumer sentiment soared last summer with the growth in tourism, as Nielsen's confidence index jumped eight points in July-September from the second quarter of 2017, reaching 60 points - its highest point since the first quarter of 2015, when it came to 65 points.
