G20 leaders representing the bulk of the world's economy on Nov. 16 committed to reform measures to lift their collective growth by an extra 2.1 percent by 2018, despite evidence of a slowdown in some major nations.
      

The South Korean ambassador to Romania Hyo-Sung Park said during a visit to northwestern Oradea late on Thursday he is very satisfied with the current phase in the bilateral relations and their direction of development and is convinced the cooperation will be enhanced in the future.

Five developing countries, Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, also called BRICS have challenged the IMF and World Bank.

At the annual summit at Brazil’s Fortaleza city, the BRICS countries stated they have founded a multilateral development bank.

The five BRICS countries are due to create a development bank with USD 50 B in initial capital and an emergency fund, Brazil's President Dilma Rousseff announced.

At a summit staged in the Brazilian city of Fortaleza that kicked off just days after the World Cup finals, the emerging nations' leaders confirmed the project in which they had declared interest to pursue earlier in July.
