Two arrested in Zakynthos over laughing gas, spiked drinks
Two people were arrested on the Ionian island of Zakynthos on Monday in connection with balloons containing nitrous oxide, more commonly known as laughing gas, and adultarated drinks, inside two one-day cruise ships docked at the port.
Bulgarian Police Seizes 76 kg of Cocaine Hidden Among Fruits
Bulgarian law enforcement officers in the port city of Burgas seized nearly 76 kg of cocaine hidden among fruits coming from Ecuador via Italy, authorities said, Trend reports citing Xinhua.
The illicit drug was found in a warehouse, packed in four boxes, the Ministry of Interior and national Prosecutor's Office said in a joint statement.

More than 128 tons of illegal tobacco and tobacco products worth an estimated 5.5 million euros were seized in a wide-scale operation spanning three regions of the country, the Greek Police (ELAS) said Friday.
17 kg Packages of Heroin Were Seized at Kapitan Andreevo Border Checkpoint
17 kilograms of heroin was seized at Kapitan Andreevo checkpoint. The value of the drug is estimated at over BGN 1 million.
The shipment was found on Friday in a search of a car of a British citizen of Iraqi origin entering Bulgaria. The 17 packages of heroin were hidden in the double bottom of a refrigerated bag.

Kos businessman arrested for selling laughing gas
A 50-year-old businessman on Kos faced a prosecutor Monday for allegedly selling balloons containing nitrous oxide, more commonly known as laughing gas.
In a raid on a nightclub on the island run by the 50-year-old, police seized four ampoules of nitrous oxide, a funneling device and a large number of balloons.

Eight arrested on drugs-related charges in central Athens
Eight foreign nationals have been caught in the act of packaging drugs, which they were allegedly planning to sell on the streets, in a communal area of an apartment building near Omonia Square in central Athens, police said Thursday.
Canadian arrested at Athens airport with heroin
A 50-year-old Canadian national was arrested at Athens International Airport on Monday on drug trafficking charges.
The suspect, who arrived in Athens on a flight from Lahore, Pakistan, via Qatar, was found in possession of two packages containing 6.1 kilograms of heroin hidden in his luggage.
He appeared before an Athens prosecutor later in the day.

Cannabis, pills being sold on university campus
Seven people were arrested on the campus of the Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, northern Greece, on Tuesday on drug dealing charges.
The suspects are six Greeks aged between 21 and 49, and a 26-year-old foreign national.
They were all found in possession of cannabis and narcotic pills that they intended to sell, police said.
